In Philippians 3, Paul encouraged the church of the day to "press on toward the goal in order to obtain the prize," which was before them. In what amounted to crazy times with persecution of believers where false teachers who abounded in plenty were preying on the desperate, Paul called them to persevere after the truth! Pastor Ashley brings the same timely word for us as he challenges us, that even in the face of opposition we must not focus on what is going around us, rather we should "Press On" towards what is before us. 

In today's culture of dispensable technology, Pastor Ashley speaks to the wisdom of 1st Thessalonians 5:21 which tells us to ," Hold on to what is good." From this passage, Pastor shows us how essential it is for the church to stop and take a look at the things that we are "throwing away". If we want to continue to grow in the things of the Lord ,then we will have to start honoring the good things that God is placing in our lives.

In his message of "Essential: Excellence'', Chatman conveys the importance of Christians operating at the highest level. Through the message of Cain and Abel, Chatman brings to light that the favor Cain so desired could've been his had he only pursued excellence thoroughly. In our lives it's important to the kingdom that we operate in excellence or else we soon will be facing disasters of our own.

In this powerful word from Pastor Ashley, he discusses the word of Ezekiel 37, and the story of the dry bones in the valley. What looks to be a dry empty valley was soon to be filled with life, but God wasn't going to do it by himself. See he wanted Ezekiel to speak prophetically and believe that God could make the place of desolation, thrive with life again. In our country today, we can not afford to sit idly by and let what we see with our natural eyes limit what God can do, nor can we let it hold back our tongues from speaking life into the situation. God's Spirit is ready for us to take up the word that He has placed in us, and speak it forth, so that we can be the change agents for the Kingdom of Heaven. 

In the last sermon of 2020, Pastor Ashley commissions us to continue to press in to the vision of 2020 by making ready our hearts and lives for the presence and the power of God to move.

In the second part of her Apply The Blood Feast On The Lamb, Melanie focuses on what it means to "Feast on the Lamb". The partaking of the lamb goes beyond an outward act, into an inward representation of Christ and what He does within us. The Lamb purifies us, and we can not truly experience the power of God without this important concept of "feasting" on the Lamb. 

In Melanie's message, Apply the Blood Feast on the Lamb, Melanie reminds us of the significance of the Blood. The Blood makes a way for us in our lives that no other thing, person, or institution can. It's from that knowledge that we can have true peace.

In  the third part of his Culture Effect 2020 Series, Pastor Ashley Ellison reminds us of the importance of keeping God as the central part of our lives. He talks about valuing the fight for things that need to be defended which goes  back to the very fabric in the  foundation of our country.

In his message The Pursuit of Happiness, Chatman addresses the importance of being led by the Spirit of God in our pursuits instead of being led into captivity by the lies of idols. God wants us to be happy, but in our free will if we aren't careful we will raise up strongholds for the enemy.
