When did Christian Ministries begin?
Christian Ministries Church began on September 17, 1972. Don and Hettie Lue Brooks started the ministry in Hot Springs, Arkansas along with their family. Tim Brooks, who is the son of Don and Hettie Brooks, became the senior pastor of Christian Ministries in 1992. Ashley was ordained out of Christian Ministries church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. CMC of Southwest Missouri was started with a Vision birthed from CMC of Hot Springs. Ashley has been sent out of CMC of Hot Springs, to pastor this work in Southwest Missouri.

How do you become a member of Christian Ministries?
Christian Ministries Church does not have a formal membership process. If you are a regular attendee, then you are considered a member. However, we do have new members’ dinners to introduce all those who have joined in the past year.
What type of church is Christian Ministries?
Christian Ministries Church is a non-denominational Church focused on making a positive impact upon the surrounding communities by creating an atmosphere where all individuals and families can grow in faith and discover God’s plan for their lives. We are also dedicated to serve as a Christian outreach by helping the nations experience “God’s Love” which comes from faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
What is appropriate to wear to church?
Come as you are! The dress ranges from casual to professional.
Do you have a ministry for children & teenagers?
Christian Ministries Church is dedicated to seeing young people develop an active faith toward God and His Word as well as enjoy coming to the House of God. There are many exciting and inspirational classes as well as activities prepared to make each service a special service. These include Kawrobes (ages 6-12) and Dunamis (youth).

We Believe…
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. Salvation has been provided and is available for all people through Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we can die to our sinful nature and be born again to a new life of purity and power.
Water Baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him. He provides the power to live a sanctified and holy life, and to be effective in service to God.
The Priesthood of the Believer: We believe that every believer has a unique relationship with the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry (1 Peter 2:9).
Evangelism: We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go and make disciples in all the earth. We believe that each person is responsible to first evangelize their own family, then their community, and then the world, as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability. (Matthew 28:18-20)
The Tithe: We believe that the tithe is every believer’s God-given responsibility according to Malachi 3:8-12 and Deuteronomy 14:22.
